What We Raise
For 2009, we plan to raise Natural and
Free Range:
- Chicken & Eggs
- Turkeys
- Pork
- Duck
- Grass-Fed Beef
Natural Raw Food for Dogs and Cats
Always interested in optimal
nutrition and health for our own animals, we have switched our
own pets from commercial pet foods to homemade, raw foods prepared
in our own kitchen. We are currently researching, testing and
refining our own recipes and plan to offer packaged raw foods
for your pets starting in Spring 2009.
What do the terms "Natural"
and "Free Range" mean?
"Natural" meat animals
are raised without the use of antibiotics or growth hormones.
"Free Range" means the animals are not caged and are
allowed to move about freely. While we do feed grain, our animals
are free to browse and eat foodstuffs available in the woods
on our farm. The animals are all provided with safe and comfortable
shelter but are not confined except for nighttime, to protect
them from predators.
